Croatia is one of the greenest and most fantastic countries in Eastern Europe. Its natural beauty is concentrated in not so vast territory, but it is various and impressive. Montenegro is one of the smallest countries in Eastern Europe, but this is not a problem, because it has one of the most beautiful and various landscapes. There are high mounts, karst fields and impressive 294 kilometres long coastline at Adriatic Sea. The country is famous for the superb beaches, picturesque lakes and rivers, and high green mountains all gathered in the small territory Montenegro. It is important to know that the mild weather is an important detail, when choosing the holiday. Breath-taking views and natural beauty that everybody would like to see is what makes this destination so preferable. The capital of Montenegro is Podgorica – a nice city, which is situated close to the sea. There could be found many different architectural styles in this beautiful city, resembling the different historical periods. Most emblematic sites for the city are the famous museums – historical, archaeological and main Podgorica Museum, where the rich culture of the country is exposed by intriguing artefacts, the Theatre and many galleries and art centres. Last in the list, but definitely one of the most colourful and pleasant countries in this part of the continent, is Slovenia. This small but picturesque country is famous for its superb beach resorts. The coastline is really gorgeous and many people go to have a nice sunny holiday there. It is interesting to note that about half the territory of Slovenia is covered by woods, so all nature lovers will be fascinated to go and explore the breath-taking beautiful places. The capital of the country is Ljubljana, famous for the nice architecture, mostly in Baroque style. Some of the most interesting attractions in Slovenia are the caves Postojna and Škocjan which are visited by millions of people annually. Slovenia offers a wide range of nice activities and complete relax, so it is probably one of the best countries to visit!
